Gold karats

10K gold is 41.7% pure gold — the most durable and affordable solid gold, great for everyday wear. 14K gold is 58.3% pure — the most popular balance of richness and durability. 18K gold is 75% pure — a deeper color and more premium, slightly softer. All are real, stamped solid gold throughout.

Gold colors

Yellow gold is the classic warm tone. White gold is gold alloyed for a silvery look, usually finished with rhodium. Rose gold has a warm pink hue from added copper. Two-tone combines colors in one piece.

Sterling silver

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, stamped 925. Durable, hypoallergenic-friendly, and an excellent value.

Solid gold vs. gold finish

We're precise about this: solid gold means real gold all the way through. Gold finish means a sterling-silver (or base) piece with a layer of gold over it — a beautiful look at a lower price. We never call a gold-finish piece "solid gold."

Diamonds and stones

We sell real diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and cubic zirconia (CZ), each labeled accurately in the listing. We never call CZ a diamond.
