A piece of real jewelry is one of the few gifts that lasts a lifetime. Here's how we think about gifting across the milestones our customers come back for year after year.
For Mom
The Mother's Day classic that never misses: an engravable piece with her children's initials. Or a heart pendant in solid gold — the symbol that's never gotten old in 5,000 years.
Under $100: Sterling Silver MOM Pendant with rose gold finish. Heart bracelet with CZ accents.
$100–250: 14K Yellow Gold MOM in Heart Pendant. Or an initial pendant in 14K white gold.
$250+: 14K solid gold heart pendant with diamond accent. Tennis bracelet in sterling silver.
For First Communion
The First Communion piece is the start of a lifetime collection. Most families choose a small, dainty piece sized for a 7–9 year old — something they'll keep for confirmation and beyond.
The traditional choices: a small cross pendant, an engravable ID bracelet, or a Miraculous Medal. Each carries meaning and lasts forever.
Sweet spot: $80–200. Sterling silver for daily wear, solid 14K for the heirloom piece.
For a Sweet 16 or Quinceañera
The teenage milestone gift is often the first "adult" piece of jewelry — meaningful enough to be kept, contemporary enough to actually wear in 2026.
Tennis necklaces, paperclip chains, layering stacks, and initial pendants are the most-requested categories. Skip the cute pendants — 16-year-olds want pieces they can layer with the rest of their stack.
Sweet spot: $100–300. Stacking pieces in sterling silver with gold-tone accents.
For an Anniversary
Traditional anniversary jewelry rules:
- 1st year: Gold (paperclip chain, dainty pendant)
- 5th year: Sapphire
- 10th year: Diamond (Diamond-cut paperclip or tennis CZ for a modern interpretation)
- 15th year: Crystal / Watch
- 25th year: Silver
- 50th year: Gold (the heirloom piece)
For most anniversaries: pair a chain you know she wears with a pendant she'll add to her layering rotation. The pendant is what makes it personal.
For Confirmation, Christening, Baptism
These are the keepsake pieces — kept in the jewelry box and pulled out across decades. We recommend solid gold here. The piece will outlast the gift.
A Saint Christopher, Saint Michael, Miraculous Medal, or Crucifix in 14K solid gold sits at the perfect intersection of meaningful, durable, and inheritable.
For yourself
This is allowed. It's encouraged. Most of our customers buy at least one piece per year just for themselves — a paperclip chain to start a layering stack, a pair of CZ studs that finally replace the costume ones, a solid gold initial pendant just because.
The pieces we own that we wear every day are the ones we treat best. Buying for yourself is how you start that collection.
